Welcome to the homepage of the S-risk Research Workshop!
With this workshop, we aim to
- make progress on EAF’s research agenda;
- explore useful research avenues and interventions in AI governance from an s-risk perspective;
- facilitate collaborations and the exchange of knowledge among researchers interested in these questions; and
- disseminate EAF’s thinking on AI risks among relevant researchers.
Schedule
You can find the final schedule for the workshop here and the session descriptions here.
Participant slide deck
Preparatory reading material
We recommend skimming the latest draft of the research agenda on cooperation failures prior to the workshop. Reading it carefully will be helpful for a significant number of sessions at the workshop.
Reading this addendum on non-threat s-risks will be helpful for a few sessions as well. We also recommend at least skimming it.
If you have not read the background reading by now, we recommend you at least skim it. This will help you understand what motivated the research agenda in the first place.
Shared notes
We will use this shared document to capture notes on the sessions.
